About Me

A familiar face in Kaiwaka Rohe

I moved to Kaiwaka in 2010 after studying in Auckland for 2 years. I was fortunate to settle into an eco village from day one. The fact that everybody in the village is using environmental safe ways in growing food, building dwellings and landscaping on the property is simply fantastic.

Shiatsu came into my life in 2001 when a good friend of mine wanted to practice her massage techniques she had learned the weekend before. Little did I know what she was doing to me until she showed me a drawing of a human being covered with lines called meridians. I immediately experienced an epiphany. The year after that I enrolled on a shiatsu course at the ISS in Belgium and I never looked back. Over the course of 4 years I completed all the existing modules that was on offer which has  turned my life around by 180º. This awesome holistic body therapy has bestowed me with particularly knowledge and skills and is definitively my calling!

‘MY INFO’ column on the right shows my principal education, nevertheless I am continuously studying to deepen and broaden my knowledge. In my free time I practice Tai chi and pilates. Photography was my first passion and is still my favorite artistic outlet.
